Rockstar Games revealed the in-game radio for Grand Theft Auto VI and showed the first six State of Leonida stations. The studio is calling it the largest and most diverse radio lineup in the series.
The dial stretches from rock classics all the way to talk shows.
Podcasts and on-the-go listening
Grand Theft Auto VI is the first game in the series with on-demand podcasts. Jason and Lucia can listen to them alongside Leonida's regular over-the-air radio.
- Radio and podcasts play in a car or while walking around
- Audio comes through newly added headphones and wireless earbuds paired with the characters' smartphones
Six stations of Leonida
Here are the stations Rockstar has detailed so far, in the order it listed them.
- Cocoteo FM — the place for top-tier modern Latin music in Leonida. El Martillo and La Gata host a mix that spans bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton
- Back Country Radio — MW and Delta Dawne play renegade country across Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn, and further afield. Roving reporter and swamp meteorologist Mud Dog Mike calls in from the pilot's seat of his airboat
- AfroBank FM — Burna and Palmsy curate African music at its best: classics from the last century, rare finds and newer styles such as amapiano and 3-step
- The Chamber 106.6 — crushing metal has hit Leonida. DJ Kerry and DJ Tom play metal anthems from across the decades and draw on the state's deep roots in the genre
- Flash FM — a Vice City institution with the best pop music. Robyn and Alex host, and their show will have you dancing anywhere in the state
- Dirty South Classics — Trick and Trina bring Southern hospitality and a lineup of rap and hip-hop classics from the region. Nobody flies the flag for Leonida and the wider South like they do
Where to listen and what's next
Clips from all six stations are already up in the "Music" section of the official site. Rockstar promises to share more about the game's dynamic music and new singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album later.
