Rockstar Games released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. The trailer runs 90 seconds and dropped on October 15 with no announcement. All of it was captured in-game on a regular PlayStation 5, not the Pro.
What was shown
Jason and Lucia are back at the center. Per the trailer description, a seemingly simple job goes sideways and the two get pulled into a criminal conspiracy in Leonida. There is almost no gameplay: the trailer is built from new scenes and personal moments between the two.
Music
The trailer uses "Flower in a Hurricane", a single by Justice recorded with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Justice is writing the original score for the game, details in a separate article.
New screenshot
A new screenshot also appeared on the game's website. A seaplane marked Brian's Boat Works & Marina flies over Leonida at sunset.
The release date stands: GTA 6 comes out November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. All trailers are collected on the GTA 6 Trailers page.
