In the heart of Leonida, American industry and old school values still reign supreme — whatever the cost. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang provides almost everything else.
Ambrosia is a city in central Leonida, located on the southwestern bank of Lake Leonida within Ambrosia County, featured in Grand Theft Auto VI. The city has a strong industrial character, dominated by Allied Crystal and its expansive sugar refinery complex. The local Final Chapter MC biker gang also wields significant influence over the area.
In the mid-2020s, Ambrosia is holding a mayoral election, with candidate Erin Henshaw leading in popularity. Their campaign is backed by Allied Crystal, whose logo appears on political yard signs alongside the slogan "the sweet lifeblood of Ambrosia," highlighting the company’s deep involvement in local politics.
Ambrosia is modeled directly after Clewiston, Florida, a major hub for sugar production, with additional inspiration from the southwestern Lake Okeechobee region, particularly Moore Haven. The city’s name reflects this influence, as "ambrosia" is often used to describe something wonderfully sweet.
