Ambrosia — a city featured in Grand Theft Auto VI. It is located in the central part of Leonida on the southwestern shore of Lake Leonida and is part of Ambrosia County.
The city has a distinctly industrial character: the local economy is based on the Allied Crystal sugar mill with its large-scale processing complex. The biker gang Final Chapter MC also wields significant influence in the region.
In the mid-2020s, a mayoral election is held in Ambrosia, with candidate Erin Henshaw leading. The candidate's campaign is supported by Allied Crystal. The company's logo appears on campaign posters alongside the slogan "the sweet lifeblood of Ambrosia", highlighting the close ties between the enterprise and local politics.
The primary inspiration for Ambrosia is Clewiston in Florida — one of the largest sugar production centers in the US. Its design was also influenced by the southwestern region of Lake Okeechobee, particularly Moore Haven. The city's name is also tied to the sugar theme, as ambrosia is often used to describe something especially sweet.
