Keeping Leonida Sweet
The battle for the health and wealth of Leonida begins here.
In the heart of Leonida, American industry and old school values still reign supreme — whatever the cost. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang provides almost everything else.
Ambrosia — a city featured in Grand Theft Auto VI. It is located in the central part of Leonida on the southwestern shore of Lake Leonida and is part of Ambrosia County.
The city is characterized by a pronounced industrial character: the foundation of the local economy is the sugar factory Allied Crystal with its large-scale processing complex. A biker gang Final Chapter MC also exerts considerable influence in the region.
In the mid-2020s, mayoral elections are held in Ambrosia, which are led by candidate Erin Henshaw. Allied Crystal supports the candidate's campaign. The company's logo is placed on campaign posters along with the slogan "The Sweet Heart of Ambrosia", which emphasizes the close connection of the enterprise to local politics.
The primary inspiration for Ambrosia was Clewiston in Florida — one of the largest sugar production centers in the United States. Its design was also influenced by the southwestern region of Lake Okeechobee, specifically Moore Haven. The city's name is also related to sugar themes, since something particularly sweet is often called ambrosia.
