On the night of June 25, Rockstar Games opens pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI. The game releases on November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. At launch, only the single-player campaign will be available; the online mode will come later.
The main edition is the Ultimate Edition. It includes a Vintage Vice City Pack for everyone who buys the game before November 20, and one month of GTA+ subscription for digital pre-orders. Without further ado — just what is known.
Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition
The Ultimate Edition will include:
- Exclusive set of premium vehicles, weapons, and clothing
- Additional content woven into all stages of the story of Jason and Lucia
- One month of GTA+ subscription free — for digital pre-orders
Vintage Vice City Pack
Rockstar describes its aesthetic briefly: "when neon burned brightest." Details of the pack have already been revealed, the conditions are known:
- Any pre-order or purchase before November 20 — the pack is yours
- Not tied to an edition — works with both the standard version and the Ultimate Edition
Pre-load and release dates
- Digital copies: pre-load from November 12
- Physical editions: inside the box is a download code, available from November 12
- Release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
- One month of GTA+ as a gift for all digital pre-orders
GTA 6 Pricing
Game journalist Jeff Keighley reported that GTA 6 will cost $80 for the standard edition and $100 for the Ultimate Edition.
