On July 14, Rockstar Games released the Kortz Center Heist update for GTA Online. Players must infiltrate the cultural center of Los Santos, bypass a multi-layered security system, and steal priceless works of art from the collection of Albert Crisp.
The Heist
- Target: the Bell building on the grounds of the Kortz Center, housing Albert Crisp's collection: from antiquities to works by modern masters
- Security includes guards, surveillance cameras, and laser sensors
- The client is Mr. Faber, and you'll be assisted by professional thief Raf De Angelis and the mansion's AI assistant
- Assembling a crew is optional, but with one you'll gain access to a room with secondary objectives unavailable to solo players
- The main objective can be sold or kept in the mansion as a trophy
- You can't just smash display cases and grab masterpieces — you first need to acquire the right tool for their safe extraction
- If a piece of art is reported stolen, its price on the secondary market will drop
Mansion Upgrades
To organize and execute the heist, you'll need an art studio, but you can join another crew if you don't yet own a mansion. The studio itself becomes an operations base where forger Yon-Ray sets up, creating forgeries to swap with originals.
As preparation and planning progress, equipment appears in the studio, and before the final stage, each crew member can choose their own loadout.
Installed mansion upgrades provide additional advantages:
- The Arsenal allows equipping weapon loadouts with Mk II weapons
- The Auto Shop helps upgrade escape vehicles
- Personal Security Service handles distracting guards and reducing wanted level
Bonuses from other properties
- Bunker owners gain access to special ammunition and Mk II upgrades for the Arsenal
- Agency, Darnell Bros. Garment Factory or Terrorbyte increase the time to steal the main painting
- Drone Station for Arcade unlocks access to nanodrones during the final stage of the heist
Stealth, Crew, and Payouts
- When using a loud and aggressive approach, the number of available entry and exit points is reduced
- The more thorough the reconnaissance, the more accurate the data on entry points and prep missions
- Additional diversions will help weaken the Kortz Center's defenses and hide your location and identity from guards
- The first sale of the main target yields an increased bonus, while subsequent runs reduce payouts due to market saturation
- This principle now also applies to The Contract, Cluckin' Bell Raid and Oscar Guzman Flies Again

Art Collector Program
Participants of the Art Collector Program with Elite status obtained between June 18 and July 13 will receive rewards by August 5:
- $1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio ($2,000,000 for GTA+ subscribers)
- Free Control Panel for hacking practice
- Helicopter Annihilator (Stealth) on Warstock site
- Sculpture "Crescent Moon Time" for the mansion
Additionally, this rank allows you to steal "Fruits of Effort" — a valuable painting that is the main target — on the first attempt of the heist during each of the following three weeks.

Job Editor Update
On PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Enhanced), the Job Editor has been expanded with new objects, character models, and interiors. New features include:
- Zombie Survivals, parkour tracks with slides, and teleports
- Stealth systems: disguises and surveillance cameras
- Enhanced cutscenes with expanded framing and story options
Later this month, zombies, ghosts, and ghouls will arrive for the fall seasonal series.
Free Week of GTA Online
Until July 20, GTA Online is free to play on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, no PS Plus or Game Pass Essential subscription required.
In the coming weeks, Rockstar also promises to add a new supercar to the impounded police vehicle lineup, drift vehicles, and fresh missions in the community job series.
