GTA Online Summer 2026 Update Announcement
GTA Online continues to thrive and evolve despite the upcoming release of GTA 6
Rockstar Games has announced the GTA Online Summer Update in its newswire, though details are not yet available. In addition, a number of improvements and changes will be coming to the game soon:
Starting next week, payouts for Special Vehicle Work, Mobile Operations Missions, and Casino Work and Story Missions will be doubled.
Payouts for Bail Office Targets, A Superyacht Life Missions, and Project Overthrow Missions will be increased by 50%.
Prices for more than 30 vehicles will also be adjusted. The prices of many vehicles, including the Överflöd Imorgon sports car, the Progen Tyrus supercar, and the Brute Police Riot, will be reduced, while the price of the Mammoth F-160 Raiju fighter jet will increase instead.
Rockstar Games will also continue cracking down on players who abuse vehicle resale exploits, with maximum resale values set to be limited soon.
GTA Online will continue to feature holiday celebrations and special events, while a new update is scheduled to arrive this summer.

Upcoming Improvements and Adjustments
We are constantly working to make GTA Online a better experience for all players; this includes rebalancing, targeting cheaters and other players negatively impacting the game, and striving to make all experiences as accessible as possible, so everyone can have fun and earn GTA$ no matter how they choose to play. Starting next week, we will be doubling base payouts for Special Vehicle Work, Mobile Operations Missions, and Casino Work and Story Missions. All Bail Office Targets, A Superyacht Life, and Project Overthrow Missions will also receive a 50% boost.
In addition to these payout boosts, we will be adjusting vehicle pricing so that certain vehicles are more accessible and have prices that better reflect their value. This will include lowering the price of over 30 vehicles including the Överflöd Imorgon sports car, the Progen Tyrus supercar, and the Brute Police Riot along with many others, while the Mammoth F-160 Raiju fighter jet will be increasing to reflect its outsized utility and performance. On top of that, we will also continue to clamp down on players who abuse vehicle resale exploits by limiting vehicle resale values.
