The Chop Shop update is out for GTA Online

The Chop Shop winter update has been released for GTA Online, which includes a new business type, drift racing, new transportation, new weapons, animals, and many small improvements.

The Salvage Yard

As soon as you enter the game, you'll get a call from Yusuf Amir, a notable Liberty City real estate developer who you may have previously worked with as Luis Lopez in The Ballad of Gay Tony .

Buying The Salvage Yard

Yusuf will suggest that you purchase a Red's Auto Parts salvage yard and make money from auto thefts. Go to foreclosures.maze-bank.com and choose one of five locations. We picked the most expensive one - at a junkyard in La Puerta with a price tag of $2,690,000.

For an additional fee, you can change the interior coloring, buy a safe and one of two tow trucks, as well as hire staff and knock off discounts for restoration at Mors Mutual and LS Customs workshops. In the complete package, the property cost us $5,690,000.

When you arrive at the shop, you will start a colorful cut scene with Yusuf and his cousin Jamal to the track with the catchy line "We gettin' Arab money!", and then you and Jamal can start planning your first car theft. You can sell the stolen car to Yusuf, sell it for parts, or keep it for yourself.

First carjacking

The first car we chose to steal was a brand new Grotti Turismo Omaggio supercar. Firstly, because it was new, and secondly, it had the highest reward of $395,000. Preparations began with a reconnaissance of the Mission Row police station, where a man is imprisoned who will indicate where the right car is stored.

Next, you need to do preparatory work: this includes getting transportation, equipment, and weapons. There are a total of three preparatory missions and four objectives, but the last mission, like the last objective, is optional.

In the finale, you must rescue a prisoner from jail, steal a car on his tip, and drive it back to the salvage yard. There will be one more cut-scene with Yusuf and Jamal, and then you will have to choose what to do with the car.

Unfortunately, we couldn't keep the Turismo Omaggio, so the choice was between selling it to Yusuf or splitting it for parts. We chose sale, delivered the car to the docks and earned our $395,000. By the way, you could only get $316,000 for the disassembly.

Tow Truck Service

In addition to complex auto thefts that you can't pull off without Jamal's training, you'll be able to use a purchased tow truck to deliver simpler cars to the shop and get about $30,000 for them.

The Vinewood Club Garage

GTA+ subscribers will have access to Vinewood Car Club's garage, which can accommodate up to 100 vehicles. Members will also be able to quickly move vehicles from one garage to another through the interaction menu.

Vinewood Auto Club has unique vehicles on display that you can take for a test drive, call free and purchase at an exclusive discount.

Also, those with a membership will be able to pick up a new Declasse Impaler LX maslcar for free . You can do this at the Vinewood Auto Club or through the Southern San Andreas Super Autos website.

New Drift Races and Handling Kits

Drift races have been added to GTA Online. You can take part in them on Fathom FR36 and seven other specially re-equipped cars. The new mode is available to all members of the LS Car Meet.

In this mode, you'll earn points for drifting, awarded according to several criteria, among them dangerous approaches and the final place at the finish line. The cleaner your drift is, the bigger the multiplier will be, but if you hit something, it will be lost.

Animals in GTA Online

From now on, animals can be found in GTA Online, but only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

New Battle Rifle Available

A Battle Rifle has been added to the game. You can buy it at the gun van or at your Agency.

Players have combined to drink over 100 million cans of Sprunk and eCola, earn over GTA $15 billion for jobs in the Import/Export update and rake in over GTA $500 billion for completing the "Doomsday Scenario" , so everyone who logs into GTA Online up to and including December 20 will receive the following gifts:

Additional

Rockstar Games has announced that testing of voice chat moderating capabilities has begun with this update.
